Jennifer has been practicing therapeutic massage for 15 years. She is trained in Swedish, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Cupping Massage and also offers body treatments. Jennifer tailors to client's individual needs in order to help relieve tension, stress, and discomfort while working in a quiet, safe, and relaxing space. Her intent is to always deliver the best treatment possible while promoting overall health and wellness.

Claudia, joined Awakenings in 2017

Claudia is a 2017 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute and has a natural talent for Massage Therapy. She specializes in full body relaxation massage with a treatment that allows her clients to drift off into a blissful and calm state. Claudia's detailed, professional, and nurturing touch shines through the art of massage.

Karen, joined Awakenings in 2018

Karen began her spa career working at the front desk at Awakenings in 2018. She soon developed a passion for the industry and graduated from the reputable Spa Tech Institute in 2019, where she received extensive training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone Massage. She incorporates techniques such as effleurage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy into her treatments in order to maximize the benefits of massage for each of her clients. Karen's dedication and passion is evident in her work. Her commitment to her clients allows her to provide a massage experience that is unparalleled to most other therapeutic experiences.

Jahphina, joined Awakenings in 2018

Jahphina has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2011 and has experience in several types of massage ranging from Swedish, Sports, and Deep Tissue. She is also experienced in Cupping, Hot Stone Massage, and Prenatal Massage. She has an intuition to focus on areas of tension with both precise and deep techniques to encourage the release and healing process. Jahphina's goal in each treatment is to alleviate muscle tension and relieve stress to create positive long term effects, as well as leave her clients feeling balanced physically and mentally.

Mateo (Teo), joined Awakenings in 2023

Mateo is a 2023 Lincoln Technical Institute graduate where he received training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Cupping, and Hot Stone Massage. He focuses on the overall wellbeing of his clients, incorporating stretching and muscle influencing to help mobilize the muscles, relieve tension, and break up scar tissue. Mateo's goal as a therapist is to provide his clients with a physical and mental rehabilitation experience while melting away stress and troubles. ​

Stephanie recently graduated from the reputable Spa Tech Institute where she received extensive training in Swedish, Deep Tissue Massage, and Hot Stone Massage. Reggie feels that massage therapy is an integral part of one's overall mental and physical health and wellbeing. He is here to assist his clients in their self care journey and to help alleviate pain, stress, and tension with a holistic approach. Reggie's goal for all of his treatments is to create a personalized approach to best fit each individual's needs while creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Katharine is a 2021 graduate of Spa Tech Institute and has been learning all of the latest trends and treatments at Awakenings since the start of her career. Katharine is passionate about making sure all of her clients feel their absolute best while providing a calming and comfortable atmosphere. She offers services from a simple brow wax to an indulgent facial and specializes in body waxing, brow shaping, and all facials from our Relax & Revive to our Red Carpet Facial. Her goal is to make all clients feel beautiful in their own skin.

Ivy is the newest member of our team but has been a dedicated nail technician for over 5 years, specializing in nail health and relaxation. Throughout her career she noticed nail clients often miss out on feeling relaxed and cared for individually, so she has committed to delivering detailed and high quality services. Ivy offers both manicures and pedicures, and is skilled in french polish and gel polish.

Shannon is our friendly face at the front desk who ensures our smooth daily operations. She assists with bookings as well as checking clients in and out, and much more behind the scenes! She is here to assist you with any questions or concerns regarding your payments, memberships, and health insurance reimbursements and is always happy to help. Shannon has been at Awakenings for six years, but has over 10 years of customer service experience.
